In a football match<\/b>, reality is always one step ahead of the gaze<\/b>.
\nMillions of stimuli<\/b> emerge and dissolve in front of the player\u2019s eyes: teammates, opponents, spaces, trajectories, risk, emotion, timing\u2026 and everything happens at the same time.<\/p>\n

\nIt involves selective attention<\/b>, sustained attention<\/b> and interpretation<\/b>. It is looking with intention<\/b>: deciding which stimuli<\/b> deserve to be processed, integrating dispersed signals<\/b> and anticipating<\/b> what is about to happen.<\/p>\n
